Walter A. Taylor maintains civil litigation, trial, and business transactional practices. His trial practice emphasizes institutional and insurance defense (including professional liability), property damage, business disputes, real estate disputes, and construction disputes. His business/commercial transactional practice covers all aspects of general transactional matters, including formation, acquisition, employment relations, operations, and financing (development, real estate, construction, and acquisition). He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound (B.A., with honors, 1975). Mr. Taylor graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (J.D., 1978) and was admitted to the California Bar in 1978. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Central, and Eastern Districts of California and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has served as an arbitrator for the San Diego County Courts and is a member of the San Diego County and American Bar Associations (Fidelity and Surety Committee, Insurance Section). He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County.
